5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to understand good sense nutrition!
One of the best health books I have bought, hands down. Lee Bomzer gets right to the heart of good nutrition, armed with a wealth of research, while still being very accessible and easy to understand – she has a wonderful, caring voice, eager to share what she understands. I learned so much about my body and how to help it heal. The recipes are great and taste delicious! I bought extra copies to give as gifts for me family and friends ~ if you’re looking for help healing the body, this book is a must have!

My health was going down hill fast. My weight loss had plateaued and I had a new diagnosis and another pill to take. I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong. I saw this lady on Facebook that was posting information and backing up her findings. She had just written a book, so I shot to Barnes and Nobles and it had sold out 1st printing. Impressive! I now have the book and it is so easy to read and understand. I know exactly what I need to do. I have a new plan to get healthy that I can understand and I am starting today. I had everything backwards because the information I have always been given was backwards. The supplement information is really great and she isn’t selling it. (That is refreshing!) I found that I am taking a supplement that counteracts my thyroid medication! Never have I ever found that kind of information explained and so easy to understand. I have finished the book now and I would encourage you to buy it, soak in it, and get started. Good luck in your journey. I plan to succeed this time. One more thing. The book has a blog so you can connect with a community and share tips and recipes.

5.0 out of 5 stars A better book for a better life
I have Celiac but I avoid most self help and gluten free cookbooks because they tend to be full of gimmicks and junk science. This book, however, was informative and well researched, written by someone who can tell you not only how to follow a meal plan but why it works without sounding as if she’s selling something. I have recommended this book to other people I know who are interested in both nutritional science and staying healthy in general, and I look forward to trying a lot of the recipes with my family.
