Cheesy snacks are packed with flavor and are perfect for game day or anytime you get together with friends and family. They’re great with soup, salad, chili, or on their own. While these snacks are yummy plain, they’re also good dipped in hot sauce or your favorite creamy dressing. These will go fast, so you might want to make more than one batch. That’s okay, though, because they are so easy to make!

Yield: 12 Cheesy Sticks

Serving size: 1 stick

Ingredients:

  • 3 large eggs
  • 4 oz (113.4g) cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup (84.75g) extra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3/4 cup (84g) whole milk mozzarella, shredded
  • 2 tsp. (0.13g) freeze-dried chives
  • 1 tsp. (3.1g) garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. (5g) hot sauce
  • dried parsley to garnish

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F.
  2. Line a 9″x13″ pan with parchment paper.
  3. Place all of the ingredients, except for the parsley, into the bowl of a food processor that has been fitted with a steel blade. Blend until it resembles a smooth, thick cheese dip.
  4. Use a rubber spatula to scrape all the batter into your prepared baking pan. Use the spatula to smooth the batter to the edges evenly across the pan.
  5. Place the pan in the center of the preheated oven, and bake for 20 minutes, until it is set and lightly golden brown across the top.
  6. Remove the pan from the oven, and sprinkle the top with dried parsley to garnish. Place the pan on a cooling rack to cool for 20 minutes.
  7. Finish cooling in the refrigerator for another 20 minutes.
  8. After 20 minutes, remove the pan from the refrigerator.
  9. Using the corners of the parchment paper, lift the cheesy snacks out of the pan, and place them paper-side up on a clean cutting surface.
  10. Remove the paper and, using a pizza cutter, cut them into 12 long strips.
  11. Enjoy!
